Working Principle
 

1. Preparation
Material Inspection: Ensure the electrofusion tape, pipes, and fittings meet requirements and are free from damage.
Surface Cleaning: Use a cleaning cloth to remove dirt and oxidation from the pipe and fitting connection areas.
Pipe Alignment: Align the pipes and fittings to ensure the connection area is even.

2. Installing the Electrofusion Tape
Wrapping the Electrofusion Tape: Tightly wrap the electrofusion tape around the connection area, ensuring the overlap meets specifications.
Securing the Electrofusion Tape: Use clamps or fixing straps to ensure the tape is in close contact with the pipe.

3. Connecting the Power
Connecting Power Cables: Connect the electrofusion tape's power cables to the welding machine, ensuring correct polarity.
Circuit Check: Verify the circuit connection is correct, with no short circuits or open circuits.

4. Heating and Welding
Setting Parameters: Set the welding current, voltage, and time according to the electrofusion tape specifications.
Starting Heating: Start the welding machine; the electrofusion tape heats up, melting the surfaces of the pipes and fittings.
Monitoring the Process: Observe the heating process to ensure even temperature distribution.

5. Cooling and Solidification
Stopping Heating: After reaching the set time, turn off the welding machine to stop heating.
Natural Cooling: Allow the connection area to cool naturally, avoiding external disturbances.

6. Inspection and Cleanup
Inspecting the Weld: After cooling, inspect the weld quality to ensure there are no defects like bubbles or cracks.
Cleaning the Site: Remove clamps and fixing straps, and clean the work area.

7. Recording and Acceptance
Recording Parameters: Record the welding parameters and operation process.
Acceptance: Conduct acceptance according to standards to ensure the welding quality is qualified.
